Eli's Desserts are perishable and shipped frozen, packaged with dry ice in a heavy-duty Styrofoam container so each arrives picture perfect.

When you check out, you'll choose the day you'd like your order to arrive, up to 30 days ahead. We deliver Tuesday through Friday. We recommend choosing a date 1–2 days before your celebration. Need a date more than 30 days out? Call us at 1-800-ELI-CAKE and we'll schedule it for you, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4pm CT.

Shipping methods
After you pick a date, you'll see the shipping methods that can get your order there on time.

Standard: Arrives on your selected date or up to 1 day early. Our cheesecakes ship frozen, so an early arrival can go right into the freezer.
Priority: Arrives on your selected date.
If your date is close, Priority may be the only option.

Order cutoff
Orders placed by 8am CT on a business day can ship that same day. Orders placed after 8am CT ship the next business day. The calendar only shows dates we can reach in time.

My boyfriend bought me this cake as a surprise. I am a carrot cake lover and have tried them from multiple different bakeries. There is no carrot cake that tops this one, and its delivered frozen. That to me is absolutely incredible. Its moist and sweet, but gives you the perfect balance of nuts and raisins, the sliced carrots in it are crunchy and phenomal. What is Chicago-style cheesecake?

Eli’s is the definitive Chicago-style cheesecake. In 1980, Eli Schulman declared cheesecake would be the signature dessert for his legendary Chicago steakhouse, Eli’s The Place For Steak. His unconventional fast and hot baking method resulted in the creation of “Chicago-style” cheesecake, caramelized on the outside, creamy on the inside, baked on an all butter shortbread cookie crust. Over 45 years later, we’ve added more delicious sweet treats to the mix, handmade at our bakery in Chicago.
