A Family Business Guided by Eli's Golden Rules

Our founder, Eli Schulman, handed out a little book of his golden rules to guests at Eli's The Place for Steak, the restaurant where he invented Chicago-style cheesecake. We still live by those rules today. Dessert brings people together, and treating people right and giving back is what keeps us going.
