At Eli’s Cheesecake we value our community and have a strong desire to make whatever difference we can in it. This desire started with Eli Schulman himself with his great generosity and charity to those in need and has lead the way to what has become a tradition of charitable giving at Eli’s Cheesecake. We encourage our associates to make gift donations of our cheesecake to a civic or charitable group that is important to them. We as a company also team up to make gift donations to events, efforts or causes that we feel are important to us and the community as a whole.

The Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences The Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences (CHSAS) is one of the only agricultural high schools in the country. We enjoy a strong partnership with the school, providing job shadowing, mentor programs and internships. The Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurship Program is a summer internship for CHSAS students working with Eli’s, Wright College and Farmer’s Market vendors in partnership with The University of Illinois Extension Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Science. |

New Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled The New Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled, our next door neighbor, is a not-for-profit agency that provides education and training to children and adults with severe disabilities and autism. The agency serves students and adults from the Chicago and suburban areas. Eli's supports the center in fundraising efforts throughout the year, including a booth at our farmer's market for the students ot sell their handmade goods.

The Greater Chicago Food Depository The Greater Chicago Food Depository, Chicago’s food bank, is a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community. The Food Depository distributes donated and purchased food through a network of 650 pantries, soup kitchens and shelters to 678,000 adults and children in Cook County every year. In additon to food donations throughout the year, Eli's partners with the Food Depository on special food drive events like The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival and Sharing It Day. |

Vaughn Occupational High School Vaughn Occupational High School provides a specialized education for high school students with mild to moderate cognitive disabilities. Vaughn's mission is to teach its students individualized, functional academics, emphasizing occupational development and independence. A focus on social and emotional growth is a key part of Vaughn's philosophy. Eli's is proud to support Vaughn students with job placement in our bakery, internships, and participation in our weekly Farmer's Markets.
