“Celebrate with Eli’s Contest”
Official Rules

No purchase necessary.  Void where prohibited.  Some restrictions apply.

Eligibility: In order to submit entries, the person must be a legal resident of the continental United States.  Each person may submit only one entry or the person will be disqualified.  Any individuals (including but not limited to employees, consultants, independent contractors, and interns) who have within the past six months performed services for The Eli’s Cheesecake Company, any organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the contest or supplying the prize, and/or their respective parent, subsidiary, affiliated and successor companies, and immediate family and household members of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or play.  "Immediate family members" shall mean parents, stepparents, children, stepchildren, siblings, stepsiblings, or spouses.  "Household members" shall mean people who share the same residence at least three months a year.

How to enter: (i) submit entry on-line at www.elicheesecake.com/celebrate  or  (ii) email your entry to Elicrm@elicheesecake.com (iii) include requested information by The Eli’s Cheesecake Company on a plain 8½” by 11” piece of paper.  Entries must be mailed to:  Celebrate with Eli’s Cheesecake Contest, 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive, Chicago, IL  60634 and postmarked by September 22, 2008.  Entries may also be faxed to 773-205-3801.  All entries become the property of The Eli’s Cheesecake Company and will not be returned and may be used by The Eli’s Cheesecake Company for any purpose and in any media in perpetuity.  (iii)  Submit entry at the location of Eli’s Cheesecake World 6701 W. Forest Preserve Drive, Chicago, IL  60634.  All entries must be received by 8am CST on Monday, September 22, 2008.

How to win: Submit a photo including Eli’s Cheesecake and essay 50 words or less describing the photo.  The Prize winner will be selected by a panel of judges from all qualified entries on or about September 22, 2008.  In the event that the original prize winners do not meet Official Rules or eligibility requirements, or he/she forfeits the Prize, The Eli’s Cheesecake Company will award the prize to a first alternate.  Process will continue until the Prize is awarded.  Name of the winner and their respective picture and description will appear on The Eli’s Cheesecake Company website.
   
The decision of the judges and The Eli’s Cheesecake Company is final.  Winners will be notified by phone or email and must meet all eligibility requirements.

By entering, each contestant agrees to be bound by the rules.  The Eli’s Cheesecake Company is not responsible for illegible, lost, delayed or misdirected mail, errors in faxes or shipments, busy phone signals, or incomplete entries.

First Prize: Entrant awarded first prize will receive a one year supply of Eli’s Cheesecake sent anywhere in the continental United States (one cake per month for one year). We are unable to ship to PO boxes. This prize is valued at $454.00 excluding tax.

Prizes are non-transferable.  No cash or other substitutions of prizes by winner.  However, The Eli’s Cheesecake Company reserves the right to substitute similar prizes of equal or greater value in the event the above prize is unavailable for any reason.

Unforeseen Events: The Eli’s Cheesecake Company reserves the right to change this contest at their sole discretion at any time that The Eli’s Cheesecake Company becomes aware of any circumstances or occurrence which would materially affect the contest security or fairness.  The Eli’s Cheesecake Company reserves the right to announce any contest rules changes over the air.  The Eli’s Cheesecake Company is not responsible for the inability of the winner to accept the prize for any reason.
