The New Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled
The New Horizon Center for the Developmentally Disabled is a not-for-profit organization which serves the needs of children and adults with severe and multiple disabilities. New Horizon Center provides educational programs that will stimulate each student in the least restrictive environment. The focus is to provide goal-oriented programs that will enhance daily life skills through community and recreational activities.
The Greater Chicago Food Depository
The Greater Chicago Food Depository is a not-for-profit distribution center providing food to hungry people while striving to end hunger in our community. The Food Depository is committed to efficiently distributing donated and purchased food through its network of 600 qualified agencies, such as soup kitchens, shelters and pantries. The 9th Annual Cheesecake Festival in 2005 raised over one ton of food. Your participation in the Cheesecake Festival will allow us to continue collecting food for the needy in the Chicago area.
